COLUMBUS – ResponsibleOhio today announced the rollout of a six-part web series highlighting Ohio’s effort to legalize medical marijuana and personal use marijuana for adults 21 and over.
“This video series outlines why it’s time for marijuana legalization in our state,” said ResponsibleOhio Spokesperson Faith Oltman. “We’re no longer willing to surrender our streets to drug dealers, and we’re excited about the positive outcomes legalization will provide- compassionate health care, new jobs and businesses and money back to our communities. We know Ohioans are excited too, and we look forward to having a conversation with voters about legalization in our state.”
During the GOP presidential debate on Thursday evening, ResponsibleOhio debuted an ad encouraging voters to learn more about legalization by visiting their website. Individuals can learn more about marijuana reform in Ohio and watch the video series at: http://responsibleohio.
ResponsibleOhio is working to qualify for the November 2015 ballot. The group recently submitted an additional 95,572 supplemental signatures and 27,585 voter registrations to the Ohio Secretary of State for the Marijuana Legalization Amendment. This brings the total number of signatures submitted to over 750,000 since mid April.
